Gnomes

August 25, 2019

Hello and Happy Sunday,

Today i want to share with you a card I made using Stamping Bella's Gnomes. Seems like the gnomes fever has finally caught up with me and I see these cuties everywhere I look, but to be honest they are super cute who could even resit them. HA!๐Ÿ˜„I have not been here in quite some time with life, work and other things I get distracted and loose my focus sometimes (i think most of us do). On to my image which I colored with Copics and Prismacolors.

Happy Crafting and Don't forget to follow me also on my Instagram where a lot of other cute things are always posted :)

Been Away

November 26, 2016

Good morning, I hope you are having a wonderful day wherever you are. I have been neglecting my posts as life gets in the way but I am hoping to get back in the groove of things...hehe. Well, let's get to why you are here today and that is my card. I love the Stamping Bella images and they are ALL adorable, today's image is called UPTOWN GIRL ABIGAIL THE ARTIST. I used Copics and Prismacolor pencils for the shading, wink of stella and glossy accents for the paints. I thought to leave the image as clean as possible as this is quite a large one. The charm was the perfect touch to finish this cutie. That is it from me until the next time.. Gentle hugs to all~

Happy Birthday!

August 14, 2016

Good Morning crafty bloggers! Today we have a birthday party for my little nephew and he turns one, I remember my own boys first birthday it was so special I really miss them being little but then again I was so fortunate to become a mom and enjoy all their first moments. I am keeping this post short as I still have gifts to wrap .. This card was made for little James and his theme is Mickey Mouse, I love anything Disney what can I say we are all kids at heart. This stamp is from House of Mouse and I thought it would be perfect for today's special celebration. I colored him with my prismas and used my wink of stella to add some glitter to the top of the cupcake and a bit of glossy accents for the yellow on the candle. I went to Joann's and found the perfect paper for the background, I don't like busy patterns since I like to focus on my main image so I try to go for simple design papers. I also found a cute Mickey button and thought it would fit perfect for this theme, next I stopped at HL and found some red twine and because he is a boy I wanted to add some ribbon without making it to girly, so this was just my last item to add to this greeting card. Hope you all enjoy your weekend and have a great week! Till next Sunday....

Busy Sunday....

August 07, 2016

Hi there crafters! I had a very busy day today, you know the "normal" Sunday in most homes getting my wash done and ready for the week, had my truck detailed smells so nice and so clean ahahh...love a clean car! Did some grocery shopping and came home to make dinner! Who ever said you are supposed to relax on the weekends umm yea not in my house. Anyway, with the baseball season coming to a close for my 11yr. old we now have more time on Sunday's to cook and spend time together as a family. Well onto my card for today :) this one is from Stamping Bella and is from her stuffies collection called "stuffy stuffie" I have colored him with my Inktense pencils, yah I do love my pencils ehem... and used glossy accents for the bottom of the feet, ice bag and thermometer. I also used my circle nestabilities to cut him out and my 3D glue dots to give some dimension. All papers are from my fav place HL as well as the little embellishments. Most days with my fibromyalgia I feel like the little bear but I try to keep a positive perspective and try to have a normal life, I look forward to weekends when I can stamp and have some "me" time to distract me from the pain. Hope you have a great week!

Christmas Star

August 04, 2016

Well August is finally here that means school shopping and then my favorite time… Fall, pumpkins, and sweaters. This year my goal is to complete at least 10 cards before the holiday season begins well..at least that is the plan, one can hope but I can get there lol..
Well, now onto my card.. This image is from LOTV stamps called Christmas Star..this little girl reminds me of my nieces they are so cute๐Ÿ’• I have colored her with my Inktense pencils added some fine glitter on her coat trim and snow. I have also added some glossy accents on her boots and on some on the snow. The snow buttons I picked up from Hobby Lobby(love that place!) and the glittered ribbon from my local stamp shop. My sentiment is also from HL so is the designer paper. Well that's it for my Thursday post talk to you soon ๐Ÿ˜Š Gentle Hugs~

Sunday's Patchwork Butterfly

July 31, 2016

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!! Today I want to share with you a card I made a few weeks back and this one is from LOTV stamps, I just love their cute stamps! This one is called Patchwork Butterfly and I have colored it with my Inktense pencils on Strathmore Watercolor 200 series paper. I love using this paper with my pencils because it has a good "tooth" for blending. I also used my circle nestabilites to frame my stamp and 3D glue dots to prop it and give a bit of dimension. My sentiment is from "the Stamp Doctor" I purchased it from a paper craft fair in town a few years ago. I hope you have enjoyed my post. :) This blogging thing is a bit addictive hehe... See you next time~
